Tribal nations will be invited for formal government-to-government discussions as they develop ecoregional comprehensive land use plans; this approach ensures environmental justice while just sustainability by giving historically marginalized citizens opportunities to become actively involved in decision making processes related to their homes – something the SEP framework cannot achieve directly.
